So you might be thinking: “Wait a minute! If they’ve already got 10 innovations ready to improve this sector, why do they need MY help?”

It’s true that the 100% Community initiative isn’t just a list of problems. It comes with realistic, ready-to-go solutions. But having solutions isn’t the same as implementing solutions. If you are used to joining a tech company and getting the latest and greatest hardware plopped on your desk, connected to the fatest pipe in the valley, so that nothing stands between you and getting the job done, then imagine for a moment that you were expected to do your best work on a fifteen-year-old machine connected to the outside world through the digital equivalent of a soda straw. That is the unfortunate reality of most public sector environments.

So the challenge we present to you is to think around the obstacles. How do you leapfrog to a new, cheap technology or simpler solution with what is sitting on a local organizer’s desk and what the average person has access to at home?

We know you can do it, that’s why you are here. So, check out the design innovations below to get those gears working.
