READINESS
A 100% COMMUNITY WORKSHOP

UNDERSTANDING 20 KEY CONCEPTS GUIDING THE 100% COMMUNITY INITIATIVE

WELCOME TO 100% READINESS

We have designed a radically simple plan to address one of the most complicated challenges facing all fifty states in the USA: ensuring that 100% of state residents have access to the ten vital services for surviving and thriving. It all starts with getting on the same page with a shared language. The Readiness Workshop is designed to explore the 20 key concepts guiding the initiative.

Thank you for joining the 100% Community — a book, a course, an initiative and most importantly, a movement to make everyone’s health and safety a priority.

GETTING STARTED

TEAM MEMBERS: If you are part of a 100% Community county team, you have an opportunity to discuss with your team members your experience with the Readiness Workshop.. We recommend organizing your time so that you have a schedule to meet up collectively with co-community organizers and action team members to share your insights gained from the workshop and website.

INDIVIDUALS: If you are not yet involved in a 100% Community initiative, this Readiness Workshop provides an overview of key concepts guiding the initiative, and the complexities of ensuring that your county makes the ten vital services for surviving and thriving accessible to all residents.

WHY THESE TWENTY CONCEPTS?

In order to begin to grasp the components of our course and the 100% Community initiative, let us share why you need to understand twenty concepts that are the foundation of the work. If we, collectively, are going to take on a project with the magnitude of 100% Community, we need to get on the same page and be diligent about our comprehensive approach.

Think of it this way, imagine your new house is being built on a foundation of twenty large wooden beams. You cannot afford to have one break. It’s the same way with the following twenty concepts, each one plays a critical role in the building a local 100% Community initiative.
